Harbor Docking and Towing has fully integrated Carga into our day-to-day operation with great success. The functions and features improve any marine operation. The most exciting advancement is the addition of the Jobs Reports. Having the ability to review every job completed in a port has decreased invoicing errors, freed up dispatchers and given us the ability to send customers a visual recap of the job. Saving time and improving accuracy is important and Carga has done both for us.
Our Carga screen is prominently located in the office and is very much the “go to tool” for Operations, Fleet Technical and Chartering depts for vessel position and monitoring reference. Graphically good to look at and an easy to use and intuitive system. It has many useful functions including easy identifiable vessel speed indication by color, it also incorporates nautical charts and weather overlays. In all, an excellent AIS monitoring system
